SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 7,150 Vacancies

The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the recruitment notification for 7,150 Apprentice posts under Advertisement No. CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07. The online application portal opened on May 19, 2026, and eligible graduates can submit their forms until the last date on June 8, 2026.

This is a one-year apprenticeship training program. While it provides excellent practical experience in corporate banking operations, it is important to note that this training does not guarantee permanent or regular employment with SBI after completion.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university. There is no specific minimum percentage required to apply.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. Candidates must be born between April 2, 1998, and April 1, 2006. Standard age relaxations apply for reserved categories (5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).

Stipend and Selection Process

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend of ₹15,000 during the 1-year training period. No extra allowances or medical benefits are provided.

The selection is entirely merit-based and features two main stages without any interview round:

  1. Online Written Exam: A 60-minute objective computer-based test containing 100 questions for 100 marks. It covers General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. A negative marking of 0.25 marks applies for every incorrect answer.
  2. Local Language Test: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the official local language of the state they are applying from. If you studied the local language in Class 10 or 12 and have it on your marksheet, you will be exempted from this test.

  3. Fill in your basic details to generate your registration number and password.
  4. Upload clear scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
  5. Pay the application fee using a debit card, credit card, or net banking, and download your final submitted application form.
