Eligibility and Age Limits

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
To secure a seat, candidates need to clear three major evaluation rounds:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): An objective exam featuring 100 questions to be solved in 90 minutes. A negative marking of 1/3rd mark applies for every wrong answer.
- Document Verification (DV): Cross-checking of educational certificates, caste category validity, and identity details.
- Medical Examination: Checking physical and vision fitness based on the standard rules assigned to specific railway tech profiles.

Once the portal goes live on June 30, candidates can apply by visiting the official centralized link at rrbapply.gov.in:
- Step 1: Complete the registration using a valid email and mobile number to generate login details.
- Step 2: Fill out the form, picking one specific RRB zone. (Note: You can only apply to one RRB per Pay Level).
- Step 3: Complete your profile verification using your matriculation certificate.
- Step 4: Upload scanned documents, signature, and passport-size photo against a white background.
