Eligibility Criteria & Age Limits
Candidates must fulfill all specified eligibility conditions as of the application commencement date (May 19, 2026).
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board, along with an ITI Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade.
- Who Cannot Apply: Engineering graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible for this scheme.
- Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years. Upper age relaxations are detailed below:

Selection Process (No Written Exam)
The selection process is purely merit-based. There will be no written examination or viva.
- Merit List Formula: The final merit list is prepared by taking the average percentage of marks obtained in both Class 10 (50% weightage) and the ITI Examination (50% weightage).
- Tie-Breaker: If two candidates score exactly the same marks, the older candidate gets priority. If their ages match as well, the candidate who passed Class 10 earlier is preferred.
- Final Stages: Shortlisted candidates will be notified separately for Document Verification and a basic Medical Examination.

Applications must be submitted strictly in online mode via the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) official portal.
- Visit the portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and register as a candidate using a valid mobile number and email.
- Complete your profile and fill in your Class 10 and ITI marks accurately in the qualification section.
- Search for the establishment using the respective code for Nagpur Division or Motibagh Workshop.
- Select your trade and upload the required soft copies (scanned recent passport photograph, signature, 10th marksheet, and ITI trade certificate).
- Review the details carefully and click submit. Keep a printed copy of the confirmation page for your records.
