Iran Closes Strait of Hormuz and Fires on Ships Over US Blockade
Iran’s military has fully re-closed the Strait of Hormuz today. In a violent turn, IRGC gunboats fired on an Indian-flagged tanker and a container ship that tried to pass. Iran says the closure will stay until the U.S. stops its naval blockade of Iranian ports.
Kyiv Supermarket Shooting 6 Killed as Police Neutralize Gunman
A 58-year-old gunman killed 6 people and wounded 14 others after opening fire in the streets and taking hostages inside a supermarket. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the casualties, including a young woman who died in the hospital. Police tactical units stormed the building and killed the attacker after negotiations failed.
