About IRDT
Iran Daylight Time (IRDT) is the daylight saving time used in Iran during the summer months. It is based on Iran Standard Time (IRST) with an adjustment of UTC+04:30, meaning it is 4 hours and 30 minutes ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
IRDT is observed in Iran during the warmer part of the year to make better use of daylight. During the rest of the year, Iran switches back to Iran Standard Time (IRST), which has a UTC offset of UTC+03:30.
Iran Daylight Time is used across the entire country, including major cities such as Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, and Tabriz.
