The Indian Navy has officially released the admit cards for the Agniveer MR (Musician) 02/2026 Batch on May 9, 2026. Candidates who applied for this batch between April 11 and April 30 can now download their hall tickets from the official recruitment portal.
The recruitment process is scheduled to begin in early June 2026. This batch is part of the Agnipath scheme, where selected candidates will serve in the Naval bands for a four-year tenure.

How to Download Your Admit Card
Follow these simple steps to get your hall ticket:
- Visit the official website: agniveernavy.cdac.in or joinindiannavy.gov.in.
- Click on the “Candidate Login” section.
- Enter your Registered Email ID and Password.
- Once logged in, find the link for the MR Musician 02/2026 Admit Card and download the PDF.
- Print it on an A4 sheet and carry it to the exam center along with a valid ID proof (Aadhaar or PAN card).
Selection Process & Physical Standards
The selection is not just based on music; you must also pass physical and written tests. Here are the key stages:
- Stage 1: Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- Male: 1.6 KM run in 6 min 30 sec | 20 Squats | 15 Push-ups | 15 Bent Knee Sit-ups.
- Female: 1.6 KM run in 8 min | 15 Squats | 10 Push-ups | 10 Bent Knee Sit-ups.
- Stage 2: Written Exam: A 30-minute test with 50 objective questions (Science, Maths, and GK). You need at least 13 marks (25%) to qualify.
- Stage 3: Music Ability Test (MAT): This is the most important part. You will be tested on your skill with instruments, tuning, and music theory.
- Stage 4: Medical Exam: Conducted by military doctors to ensure you are fit for naval service.
Important Reminders
- Reporting: Check your admit card for the exact date, time, and venue. Late entry is not allowed.
- Training: For those who clear all stages, training will start in July 2026 at INS Chilka, Odisha.
- Final Merit: The final list will be prepared primarily based on your performance in the Music Ability Test (MAT).
