JEE Main Session 2 Result 2026 Declared: Cutoff, Toppers, and All India Rank Out

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam on April 20, 2026. This year’s competition was intense, with 26 students scoring a perfect 100 percentile. Most toppers are from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Along with the results, NTA has also released the final answer key. Notably, two questions from the Physics section (April 4 morning shift) were dropped, and marks have been adjusted for all candidates accordingly.

JEE Main 2026 Qualifying Cutoff for JEE Advanced

The cutoff percentile to qualify for JEE Advanced (the gateway to IITs) has seen a slight increase due to the high performance of students this year. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates are eligible to move to the next level.

Students can download their detailed scorecards by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on the “JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Scorecard” link.
  3. Login using your Application Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Check your NTA score, category-wise rank, and qualifying status for JEE Advanced.

What’s Next?

If you have cleared the cutoff, you can now register for JEE Advanced 2026. For others, your JEE Main rank will be used for seat allocation in NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs through the JoSAA counseling process, which is expected to start soon.
